RSPCA ACT – “our job is to save lives”

Its essential to understand that the RSPCA is a seperate and different organisation in each State, despite their efforts to paint a “common front” across the country.

Some of the RSPCA’s do a terrific job, others are less than average, or very weak, despite their accomplished fund-raising skills.

Having said that, the RSPCA in ACT, led by CEO Michael Linke is “leader of the pack” amongst the RSPCA’s in our books – in the area of animal rehoming practices.

One response to “RSPCA ACT – “our job is to save lives”

My worry is the STRENGTH of the rspca. The tactics in NSW and Qld are like the Gestapo, except, as one man in Gunnedah said, in reference to the koala raid, “The Gestapo did not carry cameras.”
This extraordinarily wealthy organisation that kills most animals it receives should be disbanded. The “Inspectors” who tend to be ex-policemen, with little or no knowledge of animals, are hired because they “know how to administer the law.” And they administer it to gain power and money for themselves. What really frightens me is the Government support and cover-ups.
