Press release, RSPCA ACT; 11 OCTOBER 2012
RSPCA ACT President Sue Gage wishes to clarify an article that appeared in The Canberra Times on Thursday 11 October 2012.
“I’d like to confirm that RSPCA ACT and RSPCA NSW have and continue to enjoy a strong, mutually beneficial working relationship. In fact, far from distancing ourselves from each other, we regularly work together on projects that result in saving the lives of animals both in the nation’s capital and across NSW.” Mrs Gage said.
“Quite recently I enjoyed a tour of a number of the facilities in NSW and shared some local strategies and also brought back ideas for implementation here in Canberra. The important thing for the community to remember is that anyone associated with RSPCA in Canberra, NSW, and across Australia is committed to improving animal welfare and the lives of animals that present at any one of RSPCA’s 40 shelters.”
